• Check Ins are due Friday, July 12th, 2013 @ 11:59 PM PST
• Voting ends Thursday, July 18th, 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 48 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both. If no line agreement is made you CANNOT go above 16 lines

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.

Alright let me say that neither had anything bad....I didn't understand one line a piece from each....and I felt 3 lines the most from each battler....the rest of the lines were decent...Beyond has that sick ass wording...shit is just smooth as butter....and Knight has those concepts...and those cancel eachother out since no one was HORRIBLE at the other...Honestly imo this comes down to the LOTB which is AK's opener....I ALMOST gave it to Bey for the Zimmerman line, as it was the best of the Trayvon bars ive seen it wasn't as original as AK's opener...Man this was hard

cool verses from both, allen came lil worse than i expected because everything i've read from him in the past i enjoyed, a lot of this was just simple & had meh wording for me. this was also one of the first beyond verses i've seen that wasn't dope all the way through. he did have a bunch of nice lines along w/ lotb tho which didn't surprise me. in my eyes beyond had him w/ wording, complexity & just overall concepts & his execution was just simply better. can't really call this an edge but it was closeish but i'm gonna give the W to beyond overall for just a much more polished/consistent verse. on a side note that shadowbox bar was nuts.

Breakdown
AK came with some fresh as fuck concepts (loved the close), was a breath of fresh air, combined it with some dhope wordplay and was sprinkled with a generous portion of lols. I felt though that there was one or two bars that fell short, such as champ bailey and brains and braun. Perhaps I was missing something on the latter?

Bey did his thing, few nice nameflips, some slick wording throughout, probably had the best bar with the Zimmerman, felt some bars came off basic/generic but were still effective such as the pyro line. Thought some of your concepts were questionable at this level such as the close

lecture was dope. lmaao @ signature. didn't care for your take on the zimmerman shit. alpine was alright. artemus was cool. lookin like all board references haha not gonna like another. silva was worded nice but it was eh, could be quoted maybe. Shadowbox was cool. closer was fresh. I used a redhood bar and actually you have as well but it was a cool flip with the added nameplay.
