Rules

Due Dates:

• Verses are due Thursday,
  July 11th, 2013 at 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Sunday July 14th at 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

v/ slowhands, edged it. just because he has more of an idea what he's doing, even tho his misses were somehow worse than gaz, he still had that recycle bar which was cool. anyway, horrid battle v/ to the idiot w/ the big ego.

MVGT: Edge to Gaz, some of the verses by SL seemed lazy, and rhyming was kind of forced.

^again..wasnt to witty..plus in the past ive seen slowhand plays as this dudes been around awhile..

v/ GaZ thought his light jabs came w/ more then slowhands had in his verse..shake that rust SH.. ive seen alot better

don't explain your first line it was obvious - You had way too many nameflips, the first half of them were weak or misses, and the last half of them were pretty damn good but over done by that point...If you had restructured this and gone in a bit harder with the sting on the earlier concepts this would of been a solid drop - but you have potential it wasn't a bad read

@Gazette - You had well too many nameflips but the ones that worked were pretty good. So I am quoting you on 'Hands on the deck' and 'Throwing his purse' - heed my advice though and don't over do it, your best ones were at the end and by that point they were tiring...

@Slowhands - You had some straight up misses, 2 that did hit were not very hard hitting an I wouldn't quote them but you had LOTB for me with the closer. You were let down with poor execution mostly effected by wording IMO

Its a tight match up 2 strong quotes vs LOTB

Going to have to give the VOTE to GAZETTE with the LOTB to Slowhands
