Original UK version is far better...Americans make it too corny.

Word, I unno I prefer our humor to urs the majority of the time, there are a few exceptions... But William H Mary is a good actor as well @Witty

@Witty is 100% right UK version is literally 100x better imo. very dope show. US version is honestly corny as fuck & i cant watch it after seeing a better version

word william h macy is dope, doods a good actor, i cant speak to screenplay bc i aint view the UK...but shts still amusing to me, and despite playing a dirty skank the girl who plays fiona (the oldest daughter) is pretty fione.

Is that the guy who plays Frank? Cuz yeah he is a great actor.

I dunno, it was the same thing with The Office, the American version just seemed like a rip off, even though as a stand alone show it was very funny but just wasn't quite as good as the original imo, nothing ever compares to the original though, but the American version is the original version in America, so of course it is liked more there.

Also, different countries and cultures are always going to like their shit best, whether it's sport, tv, whatever...it makes sense that an American person wouldn't like the UK because of the cultural referances and mannerisms, and vice versa.

agreed @Witty, plus generally speaking ppl from uk tend to have a diff sense of humor in a way, its hard to explain though.

btw i figured out who karen is LOL, shes pretty attractive in the US version (little young though, i mean shes at least 18 tho, cuz tit shots n portrayin sexual activity; and looked wayyy better as a blond b4 she turned her hair blk and minus that whole nose chain ring thing) and her progression for 'daddy's girl --> whore' is fuckin classic. Still though Fiona is more attractive to me, dunno why, but yeah. @Atomic
