Third stream is better than hard bop.

John lewis is one of my favorite musicians of all time but why even bother trying to distinguish the two of them?

I thought the hard-bop/modal jazz crowd hated third stream. Maybe that's one of those things that was big in the 1950s and 1960s but has died over the years.

Sketches of Spain is my favorite jazz album, though.

it may have been lol but this is how guys think about that sort of thing now

but I equally love the modern jazz quartet and the blakey/timmons/shorter jazz messengers

Yes you still have yours. I suggest you edit out that "no show" verse and either write a real one or take the extension.
