• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours
• You will be GRANTED ONE EXTENSION throughout the Tourney. Any extension beyond the first will result in loss of votes.

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• Limit MUST be agreed upon

Wow. What a battle. 5-5 each. Sharp really stepped up in this. His lotb was the back scratch line and Nik's was the paper bag line. Great showing on both parts. Both with 2 different styles. I think I'm going to stay away from voting in any tie and judge this based on the 2 lotbs. Sharp's had me laughing. It was dope. Nik's was fucking roflz. It really countered Sharp's lotb. It would probably be more fair to call this a draw and withhold my vote but the show must go on.

- I liked the still born concept, think you could have presented/executed it a little more harsher, IMO. Seems you took the more simplistic route.

OVERALL: This was a good battle and enjoyed both reads. I got Nik w/ just 1 more quote but Sharp definitely did his thing here. IMO, what hurt Sharp was the Heat reference which I felt was wack and a complete miss for me and the closer that was stretched as hell. I think those 2 bars helped the decision. Nik has some weak bars too, like his opener & the Glasses reference, but were better then Sharp's misses, so w/ that being said...

Id say nik was way more entertaining to read. I didnt care much for sharps angles. To be fair tho niks creativity will outshine most on the site....an that was the case here. Sharp wasnt himself and nik was on point plain an simple.

couldve quoted another line from nik, but this was pretty clear cut to me, Sharp just got out shined.

Sharp Nine: You came a bit soft in the top half, as though you were flipping braggadocio lines to inverse them. I'm not much of a fan of that style. The LeBron James line easily was the best of your verse, and the choking line was good and current. But the closer was way too generic, and the opener was weak. I feel like you could have attacked from more angles, as the girlfriend stuff clearly was the weak point. None of this was bad, but it could have been better for the most part. Your wording was OK, not harsh enough to carry the less clever concepts. I did like that you countered the obvious music school punches.

ill nik-A: This was well below what I expected from you. The opener was mediocre. The paper bag concept was a little thin, but you worded it well enough to get impact. Then there was a long run on average to mediocre lines until you got to the couch line. While generic, that was really good and something I hadn't seen before. The wording could've been tightened on that and the closer, which wasn't nearly as good. The weird thing to me is how choppy this verse is, as it doesn't read cohesively very well. Ultimately, though, you showed a bit more edge and had the line of the battle.
