Rules

Due Dates:

• Verses are due WEDNESDAY,
  July 14th 2014 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Friday July 18th 2014 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are 24 hours
• You will be GRANTED ONE EXTENSION throughout the Tourney. Any extension beyond the first will result in loss of votes.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• Limit MUST be agreed upon

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will be disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

Eh, pretty obvious name flip but IMO was nicely worded w/ potential to actually land more of an impact if worded/executed a little more harsher.

Those were ok, the nameflip off your own name was cool and the beyond was ok, rest was blah'ish to me... Seemed like you rushed this and didn't put forth much thought or effort, tbh.

Anyways, ok'ish battle. Never really saw Cert battle before but he's a lot better then what I expected and Doug seemed to rush his verse cause I've seen better stuff/material from him. I think Cert's punches were there but lacked harshness/sting and the one bar quoted actually could have been dope if worded executed a lot harsher then it was. Doug had the 2 I quoted which were ok but I got him taking this match with just an overall tad bit better verse.

That breaking bad bar was lols. beyond was straight but the other bars in your verse werent good. Certain was witty but didn't really have any haymakers. Doug Funny had lotb maybe even best two but Certain had way more consistent verse. Certain edges it with more consistency.

I think Certain took this one. Though his wording wasn't all that great, the 2 lines that I quoted were pretty cool. Doug Funny was very indirect and I wasn't feeling most of his verse.

I have Certain taking this 2-1. I liked some of the concepts Doug was shooting for but felt that many of them suffered because he executed them blandly. The Funny Bone bar was my lotb.

Nice battle I enjoyed both verses. For me, it came down to the AC line versus the Walter White line. The Walter JR line was just too funny and edged the battle out. Everything else was even to me but Doug just snuck it with a better line. Certain impressed me too, though. I see this going down to the wire.

Got Doug taking this one by a small margin, y'all both dropped a lot of filler but I feel he hit with one more line than Certain, whoever wins will have to step it up next round

AC and funny bone, although funny could have been worded to be LOTB

i thought doug's quote was the lotb but not by too much... seen enough breaking bad flips where it wasn't a massive hit for me but still clever.

close battle but I thought certains verse as a whole was stronger and more consistent

Fucking cringe at every one of Amens votes. Gotske was my facebook status. Certain just had better non ill advised, funnier lines. I think maybe one 'miss' in my book. Dougs breaking bad line was not bad. idk abot lotb, and even so the consistency wasnt there, a more humor rich verse wouldve sealed the deal, but that wasnt the case. Certain.

Takin the approach of battling him as tho hes doug funny was a bad look imo. Its corny. Punch itself is ok....but its lame to me.

This was close....i glanced over both verses again before deciding. .id say certain was more consistent. Niether missed badly....doug didnt really miss....but he wasnt really doin anything big to hurt certqin. Just sum light jabs...if that. Walter white lotb but certain had atleast 2 quotes vs that 1
