Rules

Due Dates:

• Verses are due Tuesday,
  July 2nd, 2013 at 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Friday July 5th at 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

punch is weak concept is ok.

both had good concepts, i feel that utmost had the better concepts overall. he had lotb w/ either pricy or xpress, either one was dope. pryde had a few haymakers aswell but it wasn't enough imo

A lot of dated ideas and wording here. Pretty sure utmost keyed but he still had two solid bars that took this one imo

Not as even as the quotes though - I thought utmost was a bit more creative and clever with the concepts, and generally worded his lines a little better

Pride - ur stuff read real clean n flowed nice.. But a lot of ur punches came off kinda statementish or simple.. Try to up ur wit man... But line wise I got u with bitch set ups and I'll give u Utmost in a sentence cu it was funny. Ur closer almost hit with a lol factor, but closer concept is played to me. And the uti line woulda been more effective if executed w better wording, rather than coming across like a statement.

Utmost - similar problems with ur wording to me, almost feels to verbose at times imo.. But line wise I got sitting pretty n scat.. With near hits on plank (I liked the concept extention, but it was worded poorly), nik-A retro and pricey hoes, but some problem w wording. Ur closer was actually worded well but played, and I wasn't feeling x press or dual shock at all.

Utmost had the better concepts as well as execution. So..

Cool flow through the verse for Pryde, however didn't really feel anything connected hard enough to shake over Utmosts scat & sitting lines. Was a coo read tho from both.
