There seems to be this trend of current battle rappers vs older battle rappers who have since moved on years ago to just do music and braggadocio type stuff. Canibus was humiliated, Cassidy will most likely come out on the losing end of this, and Joe Budden will have his loyal fanbase but ultimately lose to Hollow.
Even if they do lose it doesn't really prove anything. You have 3 artists in Canibus, Cassidy, and Joe Budden who briefly made a name for themselves either battling or with diss tracks then subsequently went on to carve their own niche in the industry. All with loyal fanbases that will defer to them regardless what happens.
So in the end, what will Dizaster, Arsonal, and Hollow have proven other than they are better current battlers than their opponents (which honestly isn't that difficult a task, considering Canibus, Cassidy, and Joe Budden aren't into that stuff anymore)?
