...the Nagger 06-25-2013 11:05 AM

top 10 player ever

"changed the game" as @Innovator would put it

the 6ers problems imo was drafting new talent to put around him

they looked to FA as the answer. thats really never the answer imo

God Of War 06-25-2013 11:05 AM

iverson was a monster the cross over king i seen him break more ankles then most any nba player

not to mention i seen dude play all broken and injured and sitll play great

...the Nagger 06-25-2013 11:07 AM

^yea I remember game 1 of the finals where his whole right side of his body had serious injuries everywhere and they still beat the lakers

I thought sweep for sure but they managed to lose in 5. still pathetic, but still. lol

lmao that shits the truth man like when i said dude would play with a broken leg, an injured elbow a cracked skull and he would still be out there scoring

Advocate 06-25-2013 11:18 AM

Honestly, had he of been just a little bit taller...like maybe a 6'5 or 6'6 guard he would of been the best to ever play this game. He already had excellent scoring ability, but you give him a little more size and add some athletitism to his game Philadelphia would have won back to back titles instead of LA.

foreal he was a warrior, miss those days of basketball

...the Nagger 06-25-2013 11:18 AM

u would have saw him win in the 2000 olympics but he was hurt

and when he went the USA was sleepin on other countries.

to be fair to that USA team, only three teams before them won gold in a row. that's hardly dominating

we lost in the 80s cuz we used college players but still, college talent should be on the level of other countries regardless if we are supposed to be the catalyst of the entire sport

and I don't think we exactly dominate the FIBA tourney now a days neither

Orc 06-25-2013 11:20 AM

i think Spain always win the basketball in the Olympics nt sure tho Ed, if so idk why
