Under the Dome
 

was a good read (Stephen King) i'm just starting the first episode that aired today hoping it's as good as the book cuz u know how that goes
looks promising though. Hank from Breaking Bad is one of the main characters lol

I'm not a big Steven king fan tbh.... I read a few books by him.. Think 'desperation, nevada'... Or whatever was my favorite tho

what's this about?

I don't really like King either, pretty hit and miss, but thought under the dome was cool

it's like a 'picture perfect' middle class town, gets some kind of random force field dropped over them like 20,000 ft and its just an impenetrable dome like nothing can get thru it not even sound and shit. they lose all contact with the outside world
but apart from that there's also like, u know, other stuff going on within in the town thats a mystery on it's own, as any other decent series will have. so far it's going right along with the book

wow steven king is a genius writer not to mention with shit like the green mile he showed he could be a dominant force in other areas of writing

Yeah some books are dope, some are just like wtf... they say a lot of authors just write to get material out there and make quick bucks, then when certain seasons come around they put out their good shit. think King does that a lot cuz he's got tonssss of books.

Lol yes @ tons of books... I mean he's kinda hit or miss... Thinner, the shinning, it, the stand' (just to name a few) all are great n classics but compared to how flooded his books are it lowers his placement too me, plus I feel he's kinda passed his prime and was more dominant 80s to 90s.
but unlike a lot of things age does not really factor into how good one can write... So it's entirety possible that this could b great, but bc of the quality n amt of mediocre material he's released as of late, doubtful, at least Imo... But @Artemus what channel is this show on?

Stephen King wrote better books than this one... He's fallen off..
