how do you expect your favorite rappers to make money when

you don't go to concerts, and you don't pay for downloads?

the brightest of them will continue to release music and of course try to increase their audience which will increase their demand.
once demand is in place other options in more lucrative fields of entertainment open up.
so...
Is the entire time spent as a rapper, whether signed or not the "new" paying dues?

I agree.

Only album I didn't regret purchasing was distant relatives and the black album

lol Naq this is EXACTLY what me n my boy were talking about...and how going 'gold' or 'platinum' equates to not sales but views...man...u already know

I honestly only need to hear their first 2cds an im good...on to the next one. After they lose that hunger theyre done. Im actually supporting the raw by starving the establishment.

I like old stuff 90s to 2000s. This new stuff makes me want liquify kittens and inject them into dias microwaveable pizza pockets.

super pimp trillionaire 06-18-2013 12:06 PM

tons of artists maintain their raw
mos def being just one.
de la kept it 100
... but I still agree with your statement in a way Bags, maybe just cause you phrased it with a ill flavor

Pakistani Hand Cannon 06-18-2013 12:21 PM
