Rules

Due Dates:

• Verses are due Tuesday,
  June 25th, 2013 at 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Friday June 28th at 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

closest bar was the last one. ruined it with delivery. look at your punches, and think "how is this attacking my opponent" and "what does this line literally mean" bc the connections are awful

vote-mainespitz, wasnt really feeling gkillaz verse that much, He had like one decent line but that was about it...maine had a couple cool punches and brought enough for the win

this battle was pretty one sided to me, I thought spitz usually comes a little nicer, but did what he had to do to win here.

gkillaz don't center ur verse like that... it's a distraction. Plus, all of your lines were very statementish and none of them really left a sting.

I had MAINSPITZ w/ his last 2 bars hitting for me, so I'd quote those 2 out of the entire battle.

gkillaz I never read u before but don't do the long bar again, u were focusing on rhyming n ur content lacked bc of it... Only decent bar was ur closer n it came off as a reach
The ms line had potential but instead of punching u just made a statement n rhymed

Atomic ur flow was better, verse was more concise n effective giving you the w... Some decent nameplate, and a few jabs, nothing stellar but Def enough to easily take this imo

true, I always focus on mad rhymes. thats what Rap is all about. I hate punchlines that barley rhyme. I love multi's . if he took the W . then congrats . the better man won. Clearly I need to get over my multi's no one cares for em here.
