worst fathers day gift ever...

I was talking to my dad a couple nights ago, and I was asking him what he wants for father's day. My high school reunion is this weekend, so I'm gonna be driving back to my hometown already, so I figured I'd stick around for father's day. And in true way-to-christian fashion, he says "i would love for you to come to church with us."

I guess I'll just buy him a DVD or something.

just go to church...it can actually be quite interesting...not the teaching or anything....just the spectacle...seeing the people behave like sheep....doing as they are told. It is a public display of mind control which happens every sunday all across the world...it's fascinating to watch.

Or you can go and learn something....

Man, I went to church every Sunday for eighteen years. I'm fully aware of what it is and I have no desire to see it again. It just depresses me now.

Diode, they aren't fundamentalists.

But word, I guess I don't love my dad because I won't go to church with him.

Kannon, go to church and then go have a beer with him. He'll feel happy and you'll feel good just getting drunk to forget that morning

uh-oh 06-12-2014 06:59 AM

yo kannon

have you ever tried to DESTROY HIS FAITH

i can't get the religion out of my mom, she is far too dumb, she was never a church goer either, just a weirdo jesus freak.

my pops grew up roman catholic tho in new jersey, was the alter boy and all that shit. i want to take credit for filling his mind with doubt but he's been on the "the bible was written by a bunch of old men on hallucinigens" tip since before i was born

but i think he understands evolution now, he isnt sold on humans coming from apes but he understands the concept

im just trying to convert as many dummies as possible to SCIENCE

namix 06-12-2014 11:30 AM

there's little reason to put science and faith at ends with each other.

same story, just read in reverse order. they meet in the middle eventually.

the worst reason to be anti-faith is to claim pro-science. they are mutually exclusive subject matters.... like i said in some other thread at one point:

in the beginning, a man of faith looked up and a man of science looked down; both were too busy defending the truth they found, but would have seen the same thing in another way had they only looked around.

uh-oh 06-12-2014 12:07 PM

I disagree
