Has anyone read or peeped 'Tell-All'

Pallahnuiks newest book?

anyone peep?

im bout done with the book im reading now, (Dean Kootz - Seize the Night) and i think i might want to pick that up...its either 'Tell-All' or 'Invisible Monsters (not sure if i want the 'remixed' or the original- just cause i aint peeped it yet...and mad ppl hyped it up) or re-reading 'Survivor'

I was slightly dissapoint with 'Damned' it was amusing in its way, but not up to par...it was kinda on the 'Rant' lvl...so im slightly concerned about 'Tell-All'...

plot sounds dope tho.

Also insight to 'Invisible Monsters' Rmx v Original would b appreciated...ive always hesitated reading the original, and the rmx'd now for that matter, cuz plot seemed a little to female.?.?.but i've heard thats not true...i unno..

opinions?

you should tell-all and reveal the true story of your life, starting at birth

only after this will you be given the key to leave la la land

I read like the first chapter n it seemed to b going nicely last time i was at Barnes n Noble

dead man 06-18-2013 12:09 AM

just survivor, but ive been meaning to check those you mentioned out

only thing ive been reading recently is the walking dead compendium 1 tbh

Nigma 06-18-2013 12:12 AM

I'm currently reading a crazy ass thought provoking book which has recently gone 'underground' in a sense. The price my cousin paid for it was $21.99, but the book is now very hard to obtain and is upwards of a couple hundred dollars on amazon and similar sites. It's called 'The Healing Power of Illness' by Thorwald Dethlesfsen and Rudiger Dahlk, and if you have the chance to purchase or read anything about it I would suggest it.

Survivor is fire tho...i aint read it in like 5 years so...i figure its good 4 a re-read..but then there are those i havn't too...so...i unno

No, I couldn't hope to describe it's premise in a few sentences but it describes causality, it's relationship with many facets of life, most indepth towards the medical field and ways that it does many things ass backwards.

Rawn M.D. 06-18-2013 12:30 AM

meth - time is what u make it...

nigma - is it good tho...or did u lose interest?

Nigma 06-18-2013 12:37 AM

Its amazing, there are some sections/chapters that I personally had to re-read to fully grasp so some parts take some time to get through but it really has you looking at things from a completely unique and beneficial perspective. I was reading it before Dan Brown released his book then sidelined it to start reading Inferno, got half way though and my cousin said she needed her book back soon, now trying to power read through the last quarter of it. Inferno held my interest so far, it's going to be among my favourites if it maintains it's pace.

Rawn M.D. 06-18-2013 12:45 AM

lol i ment inferno, but word.

NYCSPITZ 06-18-2013 04:51 AM

Rawn M.D. 06-18-2013 05:12 AM

Rawn M.D. 06-18-2013 10:30 PM

i think im going with invisible monsters i unnno about original vs remixed...anyone?

oats 06-18-2013 10:39 PM

I haven't. I like Palahniuk, or rather I liked Survivor a lot, but I haven't read much of him. I'm currently reading Multiple Intelligences, and after I'll be reading Ulysses (had an influential person in my life tell me to wait till I'm 25 to read it). But lmk if it's good, always down to add new shit to the queue.

Rawn M.D. 06-18-2013 11:00 PM

Survivor and Oryx and Crake (by Margaret Attwood) are tied for my fav book...

i read Ulysses when I was younger...i prob should re-peep bc of the age diff now, id get more outa it prob

i nd to peep Survivior again just cuz of its intensity...but ive only heard good things bout Invisible Monsters..the original...he re-released it as 'remixed' after Tell All

people be saying its just as good if not better thn Survivor...and today a friend of mine (who is a male) repeated the trend...in the past i shy'd away bc i felt the subject matter might b to feminine...but supposodly its more about Narcisms then ne thing else @oats
