On my first listen now... Not feeling it tbh, for the most part

I agree with whoever said it was "just weird"

My beautiful dark twisted fantasy was weird as well, and dark like this one, but it worked that time... Thought that album was dope af. Yeezus is not. It's TOO weird. Doesn't work. Shits just random noises that don't go together well.

I am dissapoint.

Yea, weird. 808 Heartbreak-esque to me cuz it has a certain sound throughout.
Gotta give Yeezy credit for steppin outside the box again though.

And a couple good songs can't save the whole album - Love lockdown & heartless were good but 808s was wack overall. Couple of the other songs woulda been good without the autotune

I never said it was good. I don't think 808 & Heartbreaks was good either.

The certain sound I'm talking about is Daft Punk production, which is credited on half the tracks.

And I think the fact that it has a unique sound makes it polarizing...
and people are talking about it more because of that.

Kanye = genius. Love this album so far. Havnt even peeped it thoroughly yet lyrical wise. But I dig the sound. Loved 808's as well.

I guarantee it grows on everyone who doesn't like it now.

Its good to play loud. Production wise its amazing. Some stupid random sounds in some songs that annoy

I don't like rock or dubstep or whatever
So I didn't like the production.
I didn't think it was shit tho just didn't enjoy it.

nah they said its like daft punk/edm production on some of the songs apparently

all kanyes new sht for the most part has been more 'electronica' based than hip hop to me, that ive heard...not sayin it aint hip hop...but i feel likes he set in making like his own genre
