Due Dates:

• Verses are due Wednesday,
  June 19th 2013 11:59 PM PST.
• Check Ins are due Sunday, June 16th 2013
• Voting ends Monday 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 48 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both. If no line agreement is made you CANNOT go above 16 lines

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in IS mandatory.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

This was a fucking dope battle from both. Both came consistent. I think Evolve had the LOTB with either Balaclava upside down line or the half attracted line I felt they were dope personals... Beyond came nice as well I just felt he had a few bars in there that were played such as the 'Pacemaker' wordplay... I'm going to have to go for Evolve because he had more wit and came more direct with the personals...

Despite those bars I quoted from each, which I thought were the best in each of their verses... Beyond's verse was just way harder hitting and more polished. The wording on Evolve's verse was kinda down-syndrome at times. Some of his rhymes were even forced... Attractive/Madness, mouth/down, diva/feature, poor/yours. It's text rap, mang. You gotta rhyme.

this battle was dope as fuck. both came with it, consistency and concept choice were there for both, but all in all beyond's execution n wording lead for the harder hitters overall n made for less misses, his non quotables had a bit more sting as well.

Evolve had blood initiation, under the roof and chin checked. Some bad eye jokes as well. Overall decent.

Bey had also had 3 lines i liked but they're 3 of the better lines I've seen in awhile. Drop soap, jason kidd and dutch oven. Firrrrreeee. Kidd line shoulda thought of that myself.

All in all Bey took this, fairly easy too I might add.. he was just more consistent all around. Evolve had some cool ideas, but kinda OD'd on the eye plays. I also think Bey's rhyme scheme & wording was MUCH cleaner than Evolves.. & that made for a more enjoyable read. Nice battle tho, but Bey got this.
