law of attraction versus art of war versus 48 rules of power

Seems the theme of the latter two go against the first, and the 48 send to have been culled from the art. When is deception acceptable when dealing with loved and respected i individuals? Do you believe everyone who is not you is an adversary? If you must destroy others to maintain and gain is it really worth it? Don't you think we can all eat? Discuss.

Roghtouesness trumps truth.

"every one who is not you is an adversary"

^ that is backwards logic.

Go read "the Tao of Jeet Kun Do"

To quote a great philosopher....

"The people who are obsessed with gaining power later become obsessed with maintaining that power and the status that comes with it. Only a man with a strong foundation may be humbled and walk away from the fall better, wiser and stronger" - Batty 2014

Exactly, which is one reason I question the propagation of the 48. I think it serves better as a lesson in defense rather than offense, but it seems most use it wrong. Haven't read tao of jkd yet, but have studied tao and Confucianism extensively. will dl after class.

Too often people confuse offense and defense. Any time that you have to resort to violence, you should review results. Generally you can come up with a way you could've avoided it.

Tao of JKD is based on the intercepting fist principle. An example would be be able to have an immediate defense... Like if a dude is swinging on you, you would lean away to the side and use that momentum to craft a counter strike that hits immediately as he misses.

Real G type shit.

Brains over brawn is what separates the masterminds from the henchmen.

Dirt people use the 48 as an offense and at worst become admins and politicians. the good use it as defense. which is coincidentally the best offense.

This is how I took it when I read it. It definitely helped me recognize how some women play their games. It helped me make better decisions when placed against someone who lives life like a chess game.
