with a succession of chapters and a childhood sweetheart
He aspired to reach stardom with each display
he lifted the place, his performance exquisitely played.
Emerging flawless, surging forward with critics' acclaim
and a certain belief, the spotlight perfectly gleamed
illuminating the world at his feet, but he can't defer what's beneath,
He has a girl glued to his side
spewing with pride, and his future in mind...
looming with liars and agents ruling his mind
who choose to decide that a baby is needed
to boost his desire with a change of appearance
from a wayward careerist stuck in bit parts
to a major league pier, who suffers his art
by becoming a father they hoped it would boost
his stuff even farther , roles and his views,
would grow with each movie and help to expand
his profile while improving the wealth of the man.
so He selfishly planned to conceive him a kid
- shelving his plans of achievements for this
he eargerly wished for a child of his own
and dreamed of a kid to silence their groans.
-the wife he's devoted to used as a pawn
in the life they promoted, yet would choose to ignore.
once the youth had been born they planned to exact
a hugely informal and matter of fact
plan of attack to eliviate his status
a grandeurous act that would feed the papers.
him being famous paramount in their minds
and key to saving his downward decline.
only now is the time his wife loses the kid
the power they vied for excused on a whim.
His stillborn future and kin exstinguished their hope
using this window as a bid to expose
their limited goal of building a superstar
an indescrimate oaf who filled the pursuit of parts
and would choose his heart to achieve his dreams
despite his lurid past and means it leads
he needs to keep working, takes a couple hours
and reflects on his power of love overcoming his love of power
