Rules

  May 29th 2013 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Tuesday 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

I got R! takin this, but both needed to work on wording their concepts out to make sure they come thru and hit. RT's attempts were just slightly less choppy.

Rican- opener was decent enuff, didnt like the transformer movie line much, thought it coulda been flipped better but the weak wording made it basic, hard thoughts falling was a cool concept but poorly worded and stretched which made the impact less, same with the megaphone line and ur closer was ok.
Megatron- what happened bro, seen u dropped way better than this man, ur verse was pretty weak. The opener was blah, same with ur 2nd,3rd and 4th lines, they all did no damage, ur last bar was the only bar that was a lil decent imo...

OK battle here although I feel as if megatron definitely did not try at all. I've seen ya drop so much better than this in previous weeks, which is cool, but it's all about consistency my dude. Your wording was all over the place and the verse was choppy. I understood where you were going with most of ya concepts, but definitely could've came a lot more correct. As far as R!can went though, a lot more up to par. You have some cool concepts but definitely feel like their missing a bit of impact that most dope punches should have. Or a bit more wit. Can't put my finger on it, but I see a lot of potential in your verses.

I really wasn't feeling either verse a lot, but the difference in this battle to me was R!can's attempts at creativity and his gain in ability to the point where he is starting to write like the good writers here in format at least. Megatron needs to focus on his concepts a bit more but I saw potential with that recoil line. I got young Reek here in a close one.
