pharoahe monch definitely morphed quite a bit. not sure how i feel about it.

Pharoahe is the shit. Been that way since 93

My favorite stuff of his still is on the 1991 Organized Konfusion self-titled album. He continues to do a lot of his own production and hires a lot of no-names otherwise, and I just don't get it.

I always slightly preferred Stress. gotta be in the mood for some of the more political tracks though

yeah that's one of those songs that I think is dope but can't listen to very often unless I'm in the mood. still, way ahead of its time.

@Certain I know before you said you didn't like this album for weak beats and hooks, which may apply to this song, but I love this one

Common's "The Light" is better, but that's one of the better songs on Internal Affairs.

hard for me to compare Common's and Pharaohe's songs, but both are dope/favorite songs of mine in their entire catalogue.
