Pacquiao regains former title from Bradley
Seemed slow, and the fight went by incredibly fast. This sets up a ton of possible fights, and before everyone starts screaming MAYWEATHER. They'll usually fight a contender each, if (when, really) he beats Maidana next month. If so, then he'll have the WBC/WBA. I forget the clauses for a unification match but I dont think it involves the IBF? (it does) Which shawn porter currently has. Yeah who the fuck is that, right?
Anyway yeah. Pacquiao won clearly but dominantly. cool !! |
im not a big fan of boxing anymore, unless it concerns MONEY
and pacquaio will never fight him, so i don't care about pacquaio, or boxing in general, cuz no one is worthy of fighting him honestly. he should just retire, and with him the sport of boxing. |
Manny Pacquiao never actually lost to Timothy Bradley in the first place. Judging is the worst part of boxing by far.
|
oh no im not. threadmaker fuck in goin 2 think about this all dai thx wow.
i thought bradley won off activity ad ring gen, (1st fight) but didnt think he deserved the itle even if he won (in my eyes) since i think you should beat the champ. mayweather/pac is more possible now honestly, but still in works |
Floyd Mayweather doesn't care about Manny Pacquiao. He has little incentive to fight him.

If he faces Pacquiao he has to split the purse close to 50-50. He can keep facing popular Mexicans and taking 70% of almost as large purses.
|
PAC will fight the winner of rios and jmm. They're all Arum guys.

70% of 60 million is 42 mil or so, thats probably as much as hed make from one sitting, canelo is the biggest mexican draw there will be, EVER. No one can top canelo/mayweather right now except one non mexican guy, named pacquiao. No other fight would make the same as Canelo/Mayweather, except maybe martinez IF he gets pass cotto, and even that would still be a toss in the air. 50% of 100m would be substantially more than his highest grossing fight. And although his undefeated streak is a novelty in itself and will bring in money, i doubt it'll top his last purse vs maidana. Although since he beat broner and its his boy, I'm sure they'll build something off of that. And it's all in the works really, broner being mayweathers protege, and then losing to maidana, sooner or later the WBC/WBO would have fought each other irregardless of feuds between top rank and gb/mp. expect a fight if neither of them loses in their next bouts. But I get where youre coming from |

Pac just beat rios. And a JMM V although I personally think it's unlikely, it'll probably happen lol, since that fight always has draws and pacquiao fanatics want redemption somehow, but even if that does happen, mayweather still had fights on his contract, and moving up to 154 when he already beat canelo seems unlikely, even now when cotto is moving up for martinez, I can probably see Lara at 154 but who else really, any other title holder isnt even in the talks. |
shawn portero is a beast
|
did the good guy win??

Money's too bitch to handpick a challenging fight.
DIVA CHAMP FOREVER in a dead sport |
Money doesn't need this fight, pacman doesn't really either, but the sport needs it. It would be a shame if it doesn't go down.
|
the sport is too dead not to do it. it will be the spark boxing needs.
|
I think just the fact that this is the most important fight of the last ten years(and possibly 10 yrs into the future)and that it hadn't happened yet means that it probably won't. PAC is not the man he was before he was KOd and honestly I fear that may be his undoing in a Money bout.
