Happiness is an apparition- Light is lost ta darkness
Stark hardness in the concrete- the notion of positive growth is nonsense
Eggs and grits on plates, ties made, n' happy faces
Sad souls n' bad phrases make clad that bad fragrance
Stinch reminiscent of that wench in the alleyways
Pinched out of ur dream's extensions the memoirs of happy days
Taxed by life til ur lax decays- wax in braids ain't as slick as these cats today
U git robbed by ur companions, life leaves ur ass enslaved
Leeches beseech u til they assume ur stacks n' estates
I'm saxin' premonitions heard in word n' rhythm
Verbs incurred I'm dribblin'- dispersin' thoughts that hurt the worst of villains
Truth suspended in a harness of harshness is what our time necessitates
The world is dark in this age, and as we let it be, we vegetate

I stand in field of ur vision- a facade, an enactment
A tactful accident never realized by the hapless
I'm a walking mistake never assumed so- but so bruised and broke
Misused and choked- life in my veins resumes in strokes
Or maybe the appropriate appropriation wud be I'm a chameleon
Pics are worth thousands but my thought is worth millions
So I've never indulged but in stints to be me
Words in lyrical curves are absurd but not worthless to me
They are my extension- my only lifeline if u will
So I'm prone ta own stills of how I honed and owned skills
Of impersonatin' the lost and bewildered- knowing all along the inevitable
That I wud ultimately be incredible, but forgetable
That fitted hides scars and truths of a man thats uncouth
