The only thing i can see being affected by this would be album sales

His first 2 albums content wise were gonna be what they were regaddless imho.

Promotion would of been different so it could of hurt a bit plus dre wouldn't of produced soo that could of hurt some of the second album and what he added to sslp

i think his beats wouldve been better overall, a real hip hop label like duck down would probably discourage his corniness tho and just push him to display his skills in a more classic east coast way

i'd probably consider him top 3

but word i just think dre encouraged him to be a weirdo and gave him alot of mainstream friendly beats and packaged him to be what he was. if you peep infinite you can tell the type of shit he liked to make. there was still a weirdo track or two, but it was controlled weirdness know what i mean?

basically he wouldnt have made corny shit like "my name is" and the like

i think alot of the themes and shit would be the same, like he was gonna make if i had a million dollars, and shit like rock bottom no matter what. i actually like those beats too they are pretty much perfect songs

and word tho i mean his style of rapping is one thing, i liked it back then too and thought it was dope, i just ain't the biggest fan of the songs themselves, alot of that has to do with the beats tho and just the overall theme and shit, the hook etc

imagine if em was backed by premier instead, just dropping BARS from the get go, no corny hooks, just premier scratching, and BACK TO BARS

Nah this was open for criticism because i think he would of been a totally differnt artist. .. The fame may not of gotten to him like it did and he would of more raw but not more overall polished like he is now
