They were genius in the fact that they took music people were already calling devilish and gave it a face
They moved away from punk rock though and got really over the top when I was in my teens and I really moved away from ever listening to them again ... But they managed to get a lot of free press for just being very smart and knowing what would push buttons enough to get them mentioned ( in a few instances I believe they were banded from some states but once again it give them this allure )
They use to make Bevis and butthhead have orgasm like reactions when they saw their music videos which once again were usually artistic but very graffic so you couldnt catch them on trl you had to stay up late or buy their VHS etc |
