Rules

Due Dates:

• Verses are due Monday,
  April 15th 2013 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Tuesday 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.
• Competitors should agree on a line limit in their check in.
• If no line limit is agreed on, then the 2nd person to post
  must match the 1st person's line amount.

not a bad battle here. gotta say tho, Dom stayed pretty consistent from start to finish. i didn't quote his opener, but it wasn't bad. just wasn't my fav. and the rest of his verse was definitely up to standards. i was diggin it for the most part. but Bob's verse seemed pretty rushed and wasn't my fav this week. the concepts that i quoted were cool but the wording just fell a bit short this week. maybe i didn't read it to good, but i feel that Bob could do better. esepcially what he dropped last week. dope battle tho.

This is a tough one to vote on, had it go back an forth in my head a few times but i have to give the edge to Bob personally. I feel like his concepts were able to hit harder despite Dom's cleaner wording. Maybe its just preference, but I found Bob to be that much more effective. Good stuff guys

Dom- Some cool concepts but I thought the execution was lackluster...

i.e. Bobtail, Bobsled, Sideshow Bob...I think they could've been done better. I liked the opener, tho.

Bob- Seen the "dead" thing too much. Principal was ok. Commonwealth was good too.

So, I got one quote from Dom for the slippery slope thing and one and a half quotes from Bob for the commonwealth and principal. So, bob takes it.

I feel like DOm did have cleaner wording, but he didn't have the harder hits. This was a close one, i feel as if The Non-Azn edge it with harder lands. This was a very entertaining battle, good shit lads.

I got Dom taking this with an overall more polished verse and consisted hits. Bob had some harder hitting bars but had worse misses for me an that's why Dom
Edged it, great battle none the less. Probs got bob with lotb on aspiring textcees / that shit wasn't the greatest but it tickled me

imma go with Dom in this one..better verse.. I feel like the opener was okay..the ashanti concept was creative even tho i didn't like how it came together.. but in bobs verse I don't think it was as consistent I didn't real feel any of the other lines that weren't quoted

very close batt here, had re-read it couple times to make a decision. Bob started off eh to me,Didnt like the opener and the followup but once he got goin with the personals he was on hit. At times i felt like there was an extra word that threw off the flow. Dom spread out his non quotes at bit better, they werent right off the bat. didnt like ashanti i dunno but the rest was good. From both battlers i thought execution wasnt as sharp as what im used to seein. so with that said

Not very lenient, I thought Bob could have come a lil harder considering what he did last week. DOm came consistent and correct, which took it from Bob.
