baking fish
 
i got 2 cod fillets, its about 1.5 lbs altogether

trying to figure out how i should hook this up yo im new to the fish game, long john silvers watuppppppppp

but word im reading shit online

but how do you guys do it, i don't got any lemons or anything. seasoning wise i got garlic powder and seasoned salt, and just salt and pepper, seasonings about on E right now.


trying to figure out what to do with it tho other than just salt and pepper and bake it with butter

there some secret smooth shit i can pull?

Since you don't have any lemon I would put the seasoned salt and pepper. I also wouldn't use butter but olive oil instead and do u have fresh garlic instead? Are you baking it wrapped in aluminum or baking pan?

all i got is the pyrex glass baking pans, will that make a differencefrom like a metal sheet? im a stovetop technician lol. i got alluminum foil tho.

but yea i got actual garlic, no olive oil tho, just real butter no margarine nonsense. i got veggie oil but that sounds terrible in comparison to olive oil or butter lol

Use the butter then but make sure u use the fresh garlic it makes a huge difference. And the seasoned salt and pepper, I'd use the Pyrex pan and still wrap each filet in aluminum unless you like the bottom that forms on the fish which is nice too. I'm a stovetop jedi too though :p but I've been meal prepping for months and it's been salmon or tilapia mostly

And I hosted taco night 2 weeks ago o.O

Skirt steak / shrimp / shredded chicken with carrots and jalapeƱo and barbacoa. Homemade slaw, cucumber and mango salad, chipotle dressing errythang. I was a ninja that night. My homegirls didn't believe I did it all. Those bitches should have been there cooking their asses off with me instead.

First off, cod is shit. lol

Second, if u wanna make it taste decent.. u don't have the right seasonings.

U need fresh lemon.. & u need fresh cracked black pepper. Get lemon pepper.

U got butter.. which u should always use w/ fish.. always.

Invest in some Old Bay.. get some southern/creole seasonings & some Louisiana Crab Boil seasonings.

U need to update ur spice rack something awful.... then u can start making progress w/ cooking fish.
