She…offered her bones
from a city where the cobble stones would sweat coppertone.
A misfit in the cities thread but a good fit nonetheless
a lover of jazz and a self proclaimed socialist, always pissed
always wished, she was a dreamer an escapist with great tits.
She would chase excitement like a Christian desperately
Seeking enlightenment. She was innocent despite this
an every night she’d kiss the skies on flightless wings.
Her iris…full of nightmares. Her dreams nightless things.

Shes lost in the reflection of the puddles she jumps
Chasing bridges in knee high tides
Drifting along the windows like a moving mannequin
Sifting through the glass seeking truth in the contrast
