just had a fucking CRAZY call from Mrs Lars

apparently the CID have rang and they're looking into our 'landlord' as there's no one down as owning the property we rent

they don't know who it is we've been paying rent to

the CID have said they're coming round in the next hour and need mrs lars to get all our bank statements and details from the estate agents or w/e together for when they come round

as it happens, the landlord is coming round at about half 6 to look at/fix a problem we've been having with the boiler

he's completely unaware that they're arriving

i'm at work right now so don't know a whole lot more

i hope to fucking god this hasn't been some elaborate scam and we find ourselves homeless

FUCK

no troll neither, serious shit

Destroyer 02-17-2014 09:03 AM

damn son
I know in the US, you'd still have squatters rights
not sure about UK

Strikta 02-17-2014 09:14 AM

Don't think u'd end up homeless.. it might even just be a mix up & ur landlord is legit.. who knows.

Doubt u'd end up homeless tho.

Ghost1 02-17-2014 09:21 AM

Lars 02-17-2014 09:52 AM

lmao if i end up living on Strikta Avenue next to his fat old prescription pill hustling neighbor, lets just say i'd share more than a newport with her

Sicc 02-17-2014 11:19 AM

As long as you have a lease/contract, it shouldn't result in you being homeless, dude.

This is why you should never rent private property type estates dude. Got to stay with complexes an shit...

Seyance 02-17-2014 11:35 AM

gamble, why the over use of dude?

RichCardo lol 02-17-2014 11:40 AM

Hey friend, if you need help then feel free to pm Prince Dubai.

One of my contracts is with a realtor company, and the property fund investor is a great friend of mine.

Not only that, you can't just put someone on the street.

Would need court order and they would give you a deadline (worst case scenario)

Need help, then message me.

lmao so it looks like dude is money laundering/profiting from drugs and/or tax dodging somehow

we were only looking to keep the place until we have a sprog so its no biggie if we have to move really

its cheap though

the cops reckon these cases around him can take months, even above a year to build up so we're safe for now, they've taken all his info and bank details we have for paying in rent etc though

Fart 02-17-2014 04:16 PM

if u do end up homeless or something, you will at least get all your money back. maybe. probably not

Nah, that would have to be settled in court an that can take years if not longer, lol.

baron lives in the uk, gamble. dunno how you forgot that.

oh wait.

you're gamble.

Witty 02-17-2014 04:36 PM

UK has courts too lol

Sicc 02-17-2014 05:43 PM

I know, reason why I didn't even reply to the stupidity and ignorance.

Swerve 02-17-2014 05:50 PM

I think Diode was more referencing the fact that the young Gambino doesn't have an astute knowledge of the judicial system in the UK to be able to say that it'll take years and whatever else.

Ghost1 02-17-2014 08:13 PM

UK does not have courts lol

Lol

CtrlF4 02-17-2014 11:51 PM

Homeless? If anything, I'd stop paying rent and tell him fuck off. It's my house.

Lars 02-18-2014 02:59 AM

see from what the cops were saying, he must be tax dodging some how

say he owes 300,000 right now... when they eventually catch up with him they're going to say he owes the state money, and by paying it he'll get a shorter sentence

obviously to raise that capital the easiest option (at least in my head) would be to sell some of the properties he owns

meaning he could sell the house from under us, right?

I don't know exactly where we stand with regards to things like squatters rights etc but that just seems to make sense in my head

anyway, we're still here right now, the cops took a shitload of his info and wanted to know how much we paid per month, who too, which account we pay direct debit too, which bank its with, how we found the property, which agent we found it through etc

whatever the fuck he's been doing, it seems to be finally catching up with him

Sicc 02-18-2014 09:52 AM

Snake the system. A lot of people who own properties do that type of shit. It profits them for maximum income and they con the government. Eventually catches up to them as your land lord.
