Rules

  April 6th 2013 11:59 PM PST.
• Voting ends Tuesday 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 7 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 7 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,

Battle is closer than I thought it would be, but looking back on my breakdown Namix had maybe 1 more bar I was feeling but also 1-2 bars more that I thought were standouts

shake rust was to simple. no show wins the same, no meat to it. demod was not working for me. 1080p is a stretch. i'll give u a 21 assuming it's a chick i don't think so though. that nameplay line was a reaaach. nah @ powerpad match. closer was kind of corny but okay.

trainer on train was a reach. onedudh kung line was eh. seen down and out. parking spot okay. puddle was cool. 2 broke girls was a cool concept so i'll give u that but worded kind of poorly.

Maybe being a little stingy with the quotes but those were the only stand outs for me. The 21 line was lotb and compared to that the fake flips line didn't really stand up. So, I got namix here.

Felt like this was pretty close, but I thought what I quoted from defiant hit harder than namix's. Cool battle guys, gotta edge it to def tho

Not generous on quotes. Could have quoted one or two more from both. I liked what Def dropped here, it had an effortless feel that I usually get from nam. Nam could have made this drop worlds better wit just a few tweaks here n there. Def also could have worded some of his punches differently for the full effect. Close one here, but I like Nam's 2 a tad better than Def's 2, so I'll have to base it on that.

ITS NOT DOPE TO GRAB TWO BROKE GIRLS ANYWAY, COULDA SET IT UP BETTER

OVERALL NAMIX DIDNT REALLY TRY THIS WEEK..NOT UP TO HIS STANDARDS SOME OF THE PUNCHES LACKED ANY GUSTO..DEFIANT YOU NEEDS TO WORK ON YOUR SET UPS THEY'RE LAZY AND THE RHYMING CAN THROW ME OFF ALSO..SOME GOOD IDEAS BUT THE SET UPS BEING REIGNED IN A LITTLE MORE COULD HELP YOU IMPROVE IMO..PRETTY CLOSE HERE BUT I GOT DEFIANT CUZ HIS IDEAS WERE BETTER

I must be the only one who thought the demodulator line was fire. All in all tho I feel like Def's ideas didn't get executed properly enough to have the more effective verse. This was still a cool ass battle. Def's down & out line was nice.. but nam had the modulator line which was lotb to me, iono why.. just how it came off. The mirror line was also on another level. Def was cool here tho, but namix took it off creativity & consistency. I can elaborate on my vote more if need be. Props guys.
