I know its an old one but recently people have been video taping themselves burning snow. melting snow should turn into water. this stuff that has been hitting us apparently turns black.

I don't know man. you cant pick up snow unless its compacted. otherwise its just individual snow flakes. that's like a snowball. it is compacted.
