Deja Vu
So briefly, I was on a date with this girl who I had known for a long time already and we were sitting on the harbor front talking when I got the deja vu feeling, been here before having this exact conversation in this exact spot.
I know most people here aren't spiritual and believe that death is the finale, although I have been reading some interesting articles on it and I think it is too strong a feeling to brush aside as a mere coincidence. "Too often, we dismiss these signs as ‘coincidences’ and miss their underlying significance. Yet perhaps their significance is their very synchronicity and feeling of familiarity, which is letting you know that you are exactly where you should be, when you should be, and with whom you should be. These moments are signs that are telling you that you are on the right ‘path’ for your soul." http://www.deborahkingcenter.com/blo...-or-past-life/ "The more familiar you are with a person (soul) the more passion there is. This is why many strangers (friends who've forgotten their past life connections and relationships) can meet and experience a strong burning desire and connection and hook up in a relationship and immediately experience a strong and burning passion and chemistry together. They are merely picking up in this life where the left off in a past life and for purposes of completion of soul lessons of course. Everything means something or has a reason and purpose behind it. What we don't learn in a past life, we will be presented with opportunities in the present life and/or subsequent life or lives to learn those unlearned lessons. These lessons are considered 'karmic lessons.'" http://dherbs.com/news/4604/4669/D-2...l#.UvTgwLThM08 Anyone care to share experiences or findings RE the issue. Lets not turn this into a religion thread either pls. |
I don't know how you can discuss 'souls' without this turning into a religion thread
don't scientists believe déjà vu is some sort of error of the brain writing memories? that makes more sense to me. but wtf do I know? nothing déjà vu is trippy tho |
tl;dr tbc

This has already happened.
the real question now becomes: "how, or what about those moments when we have deja vu, makes us remember this"???? brick walls ahead |

I think the. "Chemistry" we feel is exactly that
Maybe something to do with our auras being attuned I find that more likely than past life shit |
when you have deja vu and you recognize the commercial on tv
then somebody walks in the room and says something that you bascially knew was about to be said but you didn't realize it until after they said it how in tf is that a past life? |
It's pure speculation.
Nobody can say for sure that you are reliving something from a past life, and until they can it is just guess work. We know less about the human mind than we do about our solar system, I think things like this will be explained scientifically in the not so distant future. I'm not saying it isn't true, just that people saying it is true are frauds. People don't like to admit that there is just some shit we don't know yet, and so they jump to conclusions. |

deja vu is just suddenly interpreting patterns on an incredibly abstract scale (memory) like a brain glitch, there is no pattern, but your brain is constantly creating and defining relationships between things whether or not they are important or even true |
Oh my.
Aero would not be happy. |
Presque vu and jamais vu are way more interesting to me
|
I know of presque vu, and experience it pretty much every day.
What is jamais vu? |
