I just downloaded 3 different Animies and need help deciding which to watch first (ANIMIE BONERS TO THREAD)
 

I downloaded the complete series of;

Cowboy Bepop
Ghost In The Shell - Stand Alone Complex
Neon Genesis Evangelion

Which do I watch first and why? Also if you have seen any of these shows can you give me a line or two on what I should expect? Cheers.

Ghost In The Shell is decent, the others suck...Bleach, Deathnote, Ninja Scroll, GantZ & Elfen Lied is all I fuck with...yes some are manga don't have a rag bitches.

Evangelion, without doubt. FUCKING WICKED AS ALL HELL, definitely fucked with my mind and made me shit bricks towards the end.

You could watch Ghost in the Shell the movie to see if you're into it or not. It's a real mind bender. Watched Ghost in the Shell 2 a couple of times to kinda understand it.

I'm going to spout blasphemy and say that I thought Cowboy Bebop was boring as fuck. Gave it 3 episodes, fuck that shit. Same thing with Bleach.

ummmm ZERO animes can be judged based on 3 episodes. you dont know this? lol i think just about every anime i've tried was boring for at least the first few episodes. Bleach is around 300 dubbed episodes by now, i think, give it another chance

I don't watch your horribly dubbed shit, gimme my subs and I'm happy, haha. But you're right... You can't really judge a show unless you've seen the first season. However, after 3-5 episodes you do kinda get an understanding of the atmosphere the show is going for, and it was ''meh'' to me, didn't really engage me. It's been a really long time since I checked it out for the first time, I think it was only 15 episodes deep when I got to it, but if I remember correctly I didn't like the main character either and that's often the breaking point of whether or not I'm going to give it a few more eps or not. And I hear you, not going to say the show is wack, but I have a strong feeling it isn't for me. Most 50+ ep animès isn't, they usually get watered down, silly and/or boring to me.

oh you like subbed lol i dont think well ever really agree on animes then...but yeah it takes me a longggggg time to get thru the ones that are boring at first, esp the 50 or more, like full metal and bleach. but i mean bleach totally changes after he is a soul reaper, like total 180

Haha, we can agree on animès for sure, just not the audio. I swear to God people were obsessed over Bleach when it first got out as well. And yeah... I'm not sitting through 179 episodes of potential crap (imo). Never watched Full Metal Panic! if that's what you're going at? Gotta be that since Full Metal Alchemist is only 2 seasons or so. I enjoyed FMA tho'.

I enjoy shows between 12-80 episodes with a clever mind provoking end. A lot of shows fail to do this tho', but I thought Evangelion, Death Note and Monster (if you haven't seen Monster yet, download that shit now!) managed to do that pretty well.

i was talking about fma brotherhood, i forgot it's only like 50 something lol. def going to check out evangelion & monster, thoo. they are dubbed right? i mostly dont like subs because i can't read quite that fast and watch at the same time lol
