looks like it's a re-imagining of Psycho. yeah it's all about norman and his mom

Reviews were almost all negative or lukewarm.

I'll definitely check it out then...although I just looked it up and someone compared it to Parenthood lol, not sure what to make of that tbh.

i thought it was pretty good tbh... not spectacular or anything but worth the watch imo

it was aight, nothing amazing though

its basically the time building up to the Norman Bates we see in psycho

like we all already know the punchline and this is just some long-winded extended setup leading to that

its not for everyone (me)

keep in mind its only season 1, and if its supposed to echo psycho and hitchcock (which i believe it does) its supposed to be building suspense at this point.

im pretty sure that proves true as the story moved forward if i rmbr right (actually dont want to ruin anything, so im being vague.)

Season 1 was good just wrapped it up. N yeah it leaves you in some suspense

Really my only gripe with the show is that it's set in modern times...but they dress like it's 60-70s, confusing as shit at first, would of been 10x better if they did it in 60's era
