Rules

• Voting ends Sunday 11:59 PM PST.
• Battles that lack votes may close later.
• One sided battles may get closed early.
• Extensions are normally 24 hours
  (unless requested otherwise, that is),
  can be no longer than 36 hours
  and have to be granted by your opponent.

Line Limit:

• Min. = 10 lines
• Max. = 16 lines
• The max. can be higher if different is agreed upon by both.

Voting:

• Must vote on 5 battles and post your links.
• Post the links in the thread titled "Week 6 Voting Links".
• You will be punished if you don't post all 5 voting links.
  You will not like the punishment, so just vote so you
  don't have to cry later. Details about this are to be
  found in the "Week 6 Voting Links" thread.

General Rules:

• 1st person to post can't edit after the 2nd person posts.
• 2nd person to post can't edit after a vote has been made.
• Feeding = DQ.
• Recycling = DQ.
• Biting = DQ.
• No freeposting, swaying or bitching.
• Unless a picture battle is agreed upon,
  linking to your opponent's picture or posting it
  means you will disqualified.
• A check in isn't mandatory, but it is encouraged.
• If your opponent doesn't check in,
  you still have to post a verse.

Vote- rayge just had less misses and overall harder hitting concepts

Rayge's nameplays were executed better (joints and pro payne), partial nameplays need to be done really really well to be impressive imo (in the case of Payne's "Pay Ray's", the concept was aiight if his name was Ray, but it seems this generation does this name-break-up 'ish all the time, its cool at times, just needs to be a real non-contrived derivative of their actual name imo).

the both sites line and semis line were both solid enough non-nameplay lines, but I thought Rayge was a bit more crisp delivery-wise overall

yeah, rayge was consistently hitting and bleak was getting a bit lazy with the concepts. this wasn't a blowout at all, but ray wins convincingly imo. more hits and better unquotes. bleak coulda made his verse doper easily.

Nothing too quotable here on either side in my opinioon.
Ray: the gymnastics and arthritis bars were very simple and basic.
Payne: The only thing that came close to a punch was the semi bar which was a really forced concept.

Ray had better concepts and more attempts at punchlines.

thought semi was funny as fuck actually... lotb.... but, not enough to overcome 2 quoteables vs 1.... all other lines in this battle were around the same "meh/OK/not bad" standard

Ray- I liked the Music /propane line...I tried liking the both sites play but geeezzz...I just can't give that one to you bro. Cool concept but not executed up to par.As far as you PDK ...I lol'ed at the semi line and that was about it. Both of you wrote cool enough to roll thru both drops tho. Just wasn't anything GOATish. Again that propane line was clever...and so was the semi line . Imma prolly go with Ray.

closer was okay i guess, the first bit of your verse was just bland. the opener was more of a forum post in disc than a bar. u got what it takes just need to polish up a bit. the quote was funny though
