I know. The way a large portion of this site pretends to be cool is what brings it down, imo, but I'm a weirdo, so I don't expect to have a majority opinion. Our common nerdiness should bring us together, instead, most people here just seem to be intent on ripping each other apart. You can have rap battles and make fun of each other without thinking you're better than them, or tearing them down. That's gay. But what do I know.

Writing in itself is nerdy as fuck. Writing in rapform is less nerdy tho', but still. It's also pretty nerdy to know a shitload in a certain subgenre of music, which most of us do on NC's. Around here it's praised quite a bit as we saw in Malachi's thread as well.

That being said; You're also on a forum with someone (spoiler: it's me!) that got way too much in common with most basement dwellers and fellow gamers. I've also seen Binærpilot live (it's a guy making chiptunes music, it's literally 8-bit music made in the same way they created music for the NES console), and that's the least of shit I consider nerdy that I've attended. Think about that for a second.
