It was premature for sure, but not the worst early stoppage I've seen. Still think faber would've been finished eventually though. Card kinda weak overall.

i havent seen a lightheavyweight fight in forever lol. i feel like every card i catch is the tiny guys maybe a middleweight or welterweight fight, and a shitty heavyweight fight thrown in

lol@little guys like light heavyweights. that's the second largest weight class in the sport (unless you count the old super heavyweight fights in Pride). HW division is shitty as usual though, I don't see anyone testing Cain at this moment (Travis Browne could be interesting, though).

I got it now, I misread that. I feel you - I can get down with 145 and below but I much prefer 155-205 classes. HW's are hit and miss, too many gas and start to suck mid second round, and the division is so thin it's hard to stay interested. Gustaffson/Mousasi should be a good 205 match, as should Rashad/Cormier. Both coming up soon.
