I'm not anti-Snowden at all, to be clear. but I can think of a handful of people off the top of my head who have actually affected the state of peace in the world, unlike Snowden. I wasn't grouping him with the aforementioned dictators to say that he is of similar integrity or character, just that there have been more ridiculous nominations in the past.

We did legally sign away our rights to almost every telecoms corp we came into contact with. But we didn't have alternatives, the idea that they might up and sell our data to the highest bidder isn't exactly in line with the interests of their products.
