not sure AZs top 5 but it is personal preference I guess, Always thought he was pretty average, as a writer/lyricist.

I also prefer Jay, but Nas is a much better writer...when it comes to intellectual shit, Nas wins hand down.

But when it comes to who sounds better in my ears, Jay is (I believe) the most naturally gifted rapper ever, just so breezy...it's a beautiful thing to hear someone flow like that....it's just cool as fuck, only other person I think comes close to this is Royce.

So, for me if I was going to listen to some thought provoking shit, I'd definitely play Nas....but if I just want to bump some shit and just listen to a master rapper, it would be Jay.

Nas has 2 great albums though, at least.
