if u been writing ten minutes n just did em they should be fresh in ur mind man n u should be able to pretty much remember what the 14 lines was.

Dove Dozer 03-13-2013 03:11 PM

@God Of War you're on point with that. No real shit lost. I had that shit in the memory bank still. took 2 minutes to reclaim my lines.

Sharp 03-13-2013 03:16 PM

isnt there that restore autosaved content button?

God Of War 03-13-2013 03:17 PM

lmao yeah i figured,.,,only reason i know is cuz that shit does it to me all the time.. i always mean to save my shit after a few lines but when im writing i dont think bout saving nothing

Objective 03-13-2013 04:45 PM

My laptop overheats easilly and shuts itself off at random now and then. I know your pain.. But ctrl+s has become an habit when I write or do something I don't want to lose on the computer. I was doing some photoshop shit some time ago, tried out some new things and felt it was going allright. About 2 hours in the computer shut itself off. THAT pissed me off and ctrl+s became a natural thing to do after that.. Sometmes I do it when I write replies or freeversing some shit in cypher threads on forums as well. Heh..

Utmost 03-13-2013 05:47 PM

probably nO gOoD anyway.

now photoshop is the worst fucking thing it can happen to @Objective. it happens to me all the time about an hour or 2 into some work n i will lose evrything . almost makes me punch the computer screen rofl

Dove Dozer 03-13-2013 05:52 PM

Ahh that was sooo witty.

Objective 03-13-2013 08:48 PM

@God Of War: It changed my life completely when I did this thing, I even spoke to God for a while right before Buddha came along with some home made chai latte; Create a folder for .PSD files, make it a habit to always save (ctrl+s) once you've started something. Just clicking ctrl+s every 5 minutes turns into a habit. When the computer shuts itself off you'll feel great because you didn't lose more than 3-8 minutes of work. Easy to pick up on it again when the computer has cooled itself down.

It has saved me for a lot of anger. And I know what you're talking about when you mention ''punch the screen'', I bitchslapped mine once.. Decided not to do that again, haha. Suddenly the screen wont work and then I'm definately fucked.

Dope girl 03-13-2013 08:51 PM

I feel ya, make sure you clean your computer so don't crash.

Objective 03-13-2013 09:17 PM

It's a laptop, if I open it up to clean or something like that I break the warranty. Aint no way I'm doing that. But turning off the laptop and vacuuming for 4-5 sec where the fan is helps to get rid of some dust. Beside of that; Never buy a HP laptop, mark my words on that.
