Karaoke: I liked the opener, even if quoting a 6-month-old line is a bit of a cheap tactic. I thought you blew the Hush line with a poor setup and phrasing. The line about being qualified to post in his thread basically was ripped from a tag on that thread. The closer was solid and topical. There weren't any bad misses here, but the middle eight lacked any real impact. Most of the wording was solid, except for that Hush line, which might have been your best concept of the battle. It was nice that none of the lines were generic.

Aero: The concept behind the opener was outstanding, but the wording behind it made it not feel like an actual punch. So he eats microwave dinners? The only personal to any degree was the setup for the line about school dances, and even that begins, "Fuck personals." Additionally, that seemed like a bit of a feed off Karaoke's verse. The sleep number line would have worked better in a swag-and-flow verse, as it was more about the boast than the punch. For a spotlight battle that was supposed to highlight a grudge of some level, you didn't show much in the way of hostility here. Even the clever lines weren't personal and didn't hit very hard.

Certain hit the nail on the head. Aero your verse had some great ideas none of which were personal enough or hit as hard as they should considering your opponents verse. I actually opened this battle expecting a lot from you Aero and you disappointed. For that reason this line:

Good battle. I think that Karaoke is dope, seen him a couple of times now (congrats on the NBL). This is my first time seeing Aero battle, pretty good man. Top 5 eh? Aero's style is a little bit like Fracture's, the fight over a bitch line in particular. I think that line was my favourite from the battle. I've read the battle over a couple of times and although it's really close, for concepts and execution I've got to give it to Aero. But yeah, dope battle.

To be honest I enjoyed both verses, Both had a good opener, Closer, & Concepts
Vote- Kar for a better worded.

I thought this was pretty one-sided. Struggle meals was the freshest concept in the battle and had really good execution. Kar had some good personals that were a little bit statementish. I liked his Richard Sherman bar. thought he was kinda reaching w/ some of his stuff and could have gone with some strong generic bars. I think Aero's opener and quotes in general were a bit stronger, overall.good showing.

this battle was wack. real talk. was expecting more from both. i always laugh @ aeros bars but he looks like he didnt give a fuck bout this battle. karaoke looks like he dropped a throwaway.

but i guess he takes it for consistency . close battle though

Karaoke, that lionhearted line was dope, clearly best of the battle, the rest was decent.
Aero; neat structure\flow\wording but lacked that heavy punchline to match your opponent in this round.
