When is the dinner?

Solution is easy, get a regular suit then get it tailored. How much are you planning to spend?

StarFaggot 01-09-2014 02:41 PM

That suit in the pic is a good suit and relatively cheap. You def want the tailored look. If you want to go cheaper than $247 I suggest JC Penny's? I think they have $99 suits then get it tailored. All that matters is that the suit has the form fitting tailored look.

...the Nagger 01-09-2014 02:42 PM

ok so jc pennys suits don't get you laughed at?

the dinner is in a few weeks I have time

where do you go to get things tailored? what is the process?

StarFaggot 01-09-2014 02:52 PM

Lol no one really knows the difference between suits.

You go to the store, get a suit and tell them you want a form fitting tailored look. Some dept stores you can get it tailored there or you can google a tailoring business. Usually takes them a few days to get ur suit tailored probably 3 business days but there are places that do rush.

ok cool thanks bro

what about shoes?

Neighbor 01-09-2014 03:02 PM

Macy's always has sales on suits & dress clothes, too

As long as it fits properly, you're good

Also, accessories can go a long way.. i.e. cuff links, tie clip, etc.

StarFaggot 01-09-2014 03:02 PM

I go to DSW for all my shoes. Just make sure your shoes and belt match. Also make sure they aren't too wide. Most new pair of dress shoes will look nice with a suit.

I'd say go lace less with no metal buckles. Simple and clean

Go for something like this, Edward

I actually have those exact shoes.. they might be a little too pointy for most dress pants, depending on if you get a slimmer fit

But get that style w/ less "flare".. you can even wear them w/ a good pair of jeans if the occasion calls for it

ill nik-A 01-09-2014 03:14 PM

Too pointy but yea that kind

...the Nagger 01-09-2014 03:17 PM

I'm going to wear a versace belt should I just try to scramble some change and find some cheap versace shoes?

Imma post of pic of my belt in a few

StarFaggot 01-09-2014 03:18 PM

The belt only has to match in color not in name brand. Also get a tie clip and consider a handkerchief

El Muffin 01-09-2014 03:25 PM

lol at those tags yo. but yea aero got it

Neighbor 01-09-2014 03:42 PM

I would strongly advise against wearing a Versace belt w/ the caliber of suit you'll be getting

Plus, you won't even see it w/ the jacket on

Batty 01-09-2014 03:44 PM

$99 suits? Ferreal tho?

Wal Mart. Com sells coffins, did y'all know that?

I'm dress my dad up and bury his ass for on the cheap then fuck up with the savings.

...the Nagger 01-09-2014 03:46 PM

That's what I'm sayin tho lol

A $99 suit???
