1) Bags - Although he fucking annoys me... It is actually beneficial for me in this type of scenario... I'm not sure if any of you have watched 'Red Dwarf' but 'Rimmer' was brought back to life to keep 'Lister' sane because Lister hated Rimmer and by getting on Lister's nerves he took his mind of everything that was happening... which would happen in this case...

okay so replace the cocaine with an android tablet that has like a 250$ defender maxx + case on it and a solar panel on the back of it hooked up to satellites so i can access all maps and places of interest

Berkley and katadyn water filters are pretty good as well. Katadyn more so for mobility. In a pinch as well if you need to carry hot or cold water get a outdoor research bottle thermast they are excellent.
