im employed. but i missed like a month of work because shit slowed down over the holidays

my boss was telling me i can get unemployment, and they pay back like the time you missed

but i don't know how this works, i thought you had to be unemployed?

i dont want to fill it out and have them think its a scam or something

how does this work?

I do it during the winter sometimes cause when I'm working in mines it can be seasonal.

Not sure how it works in the states but in canada it's pretty straight forward.. Can fill it out from home online. Was getting almost 900 every two weeks and can stay on it up to a year.
