maybe you should try recording music, or making beats.


i quit text a loooong time ago, and started recording a little in high school. I got a lot out of it, and let's be serious, you're more prone to legit feedback from whoever listens to your stuff.


just saying, art is a living thing that evolves because of us. Do something with your love of hip hop and writing, and watch your passion reignite.

Yeah, this text battling shit has helped improve my writing skill generally so i hate to see it die slow, even tho i aint got much time nowadays but i still luv text battling every now and then,

I did that, quit, went audio, then went just irl, preforming and lab, then i lost my equipment, and responsibilities and irl bs started mounting up, didnt have the time to invest in recording/producing...so now im back to writing....but i do so to promote my brain more then anything...but yeah I feel u at BW, u should venture out a bit and step outa ur comfort zones.

and ur the black eye of hip hop @He whose name shall not be spoken....and ppl tend to feel like they have to perpetuate that to u irl..hence u getting black eyes when u attempt @ performing..

Writing is easier. I'm anti-social/socially awkward. I have a book shelf full of journal entries detailing just how much I hate every one and every thing... BECAUSE THEY WON'T LET ME LOVE THEM. Like I said, writing is easier. I'm in bed right now, watching Sportscenter in my boxers. I'm not up sitting in front of a microphone trying to sound like a rapper sounds. Yea, I could make music, but that shit's hard and takes effort. Not saying you aren't right, but this is my stance.

tbh i just wanna write.

You can very easily compile all your poetry and publish it in a book. It's overwhelmingly easy to do. And last I heard, publishing a book won't force you to stand up in front of people and rap. There's an answer for every excuse

I love to write & a lot of people who've read the little I've done say I should do more with it. Which is exactly what I'm planning to do. Also getting into making beats, but mainly for myself- I want to make some music, not to get a deal, just to express myself more vocally. Pumped. Rawn, Bodey & Bad... I'll be hollering at y'all soon.
