I like St-Pierre, he is an all round great sportsman, on and off the field. He is a top guy and very entertaining to watch to people that can appreciate the technical game (ie everyone who has trained in the sport).

He got dominated last bout... It's unfortunate he can't give Hendricks the rematch

Hendricks will be champ

Vulgar 12-14-2013 12:38 PM

Go Lawler.

Fart 12-14-2013 12:40 PM

Drix will win the title and GSP will never get it back, he needs to retire

PancakeBrah 12-14-2013 01:07 PM

Good for him. He's older now. No need to get some brain damage keeping a title they should basically rename after him. Walking away after being that dominant for that long is a sign of maturity and foresight. A few more fights like his last and he could jeopardize his later years for a reputation he's already cemented.

Fart 12-14-2013 01:16 PM

lol the UFC GSPweight title

Vulgar 12-14-2013 02:27 PM

In that case, every title should be called Fedorweight.

:)

Fart 12-14-2013 02:37 PM

lol Fedor
please

I don't know anything about this topic, but I can tell you that is not what Masaii said, he said he fights in a way people who know about the technical aspect can enjoy, he didn't even come close to saying "if you don't like this guy you don't appreciate the technical aspect"...they are two very different things.

Educate yourself.

...no. because the subtext is defined by an extremely common argument about Georges and similar (negating) fighters who polarize fans.

try it?

for me, GSP was a supremely talented martial artist who lost his nuts, for a long time, after the Serra fight. i'll admit he showed some heart and steel in both the Condit and Hendricks fights, though. which is a shame because all it really does is hint at the true potential he had as a fighter, and didn't realise. let's be honest. he only stopped two guys in his WW reign post-Serra knocking him senseless, and while both were former champs, both were really LWs. he was capable of a LOT more

-- not tentaively jabbing or laying his way to wins for a half hour.

Igor Vovchanchyn was his father.

lol. no.
GSP fights smart because he has something to lose, his opponents have everything to gain. and he doesnt care as much about entertaining as he does winning. so yes he is boring

Eŋg 12-14-2013 03:48 PM

his whole steez switched after his jaw got tapped. fact.

fuck a belt. he was pawing at, or sleeping on, guys he could have realistically finished. remember the young Georges that fought Jay Hieron? AGGRESSIVE.

Serra took that nigga's soul.

Fart 12-14-2013 03:53 PM

yeah he fought smart all because lil ole matt serra caught him once
lol. lol
lol

Inno 12-14-2013 03:57 PM

What's wrong with not wanting to get your chin tapped?

He was good enough pull that off so why not?

He prtected himself like a smart person....enabling him to enjoy his success after
The fact.

Seems pretty smart to me.

Fuck a fan.
