If you could choose to die, how would it be?

Old age and death in sleep isnt an option.

drowning or anything that induces hypoxia without conscious asphyxiation.

Supposively drowning is very painful, contrary to popular belief...

As someone who has nearly drowned while out surfing a hurricane like a moron, I'd like to throw my anecdote in otherwise.

Well that's the beginning, yes. But as you get past that part and the oxygen slowly leaves your body you get all weightless and dreamlike and stop fighting and it really is quite pleasant.

Luckily enough I was spit back out onto the beach rather than pulled into the ocean, so I can't confirm the finality of it all.

I think the worst way to die would be burnt to death (if the smoke didnt get you first) or slowly crushed.

I would say nitrogen narcosis

Or

Opiate od

Btw nitrogen narcosis is drowning for a diver... Pretty much... Nitrogen builds up... Acts like laughing gas.. N everything seems funny and nice n u just never go to surface... Usually happens on Deep dives bc deeper u go more. Nitrogen builds... Very peaceful they say @Diode better then just str8 drowning
