This 30 years of Wrestlemania mode in wwe 2k14 is pretty ill...

Very fun to play and they have matches like steamboat savage and Ramon michaels ladder match which is extra dope

Got to the middle of the ruthless aggression part and then stopped playing...I wasn't really interested in playing any further than that, but playing as people like macho man randy savage, Ricky the dragon steamboat, and Andre the Giant was awesome.

Exactly why it's soo dope, I'm amazed out how the arenas are ao real looking esp mania 9 in Vegas shit was epic

Does it have storylines and shit or do you just replay the matches? I've been disappointed with the WWE series for a while. I remember the universe mode on 13 would've been dope if it would show me the damn storylines WITHOUT me having to play every single match-up. I also think it left out storylines for created wrestlers

Yeah i'm an 80'S baby so I'm seriously considering getting the game. Classic Hogan Vs Andre. Brutus the barber. Ultimate Warior. Jim Duggan. If it wasn't for this mode I really wouldn't even bother.

lol this mode is trash for what it could've been imo

if it were the old THQ gees they could've added the triple threat tag matches that were ironic from the hardy boyz, edge and christian, dudley boyz w/o using their name, etc.

instead the ruthless agression and other eras feel underhanded almost. the PG era is also kinda lame for the matches that happened then, i don't like this mode minus the 80s-hogan era.

I don't like wrestling or wrestling games.

They have cutscenes and they tell you what built up to the match but you just play the match

They also have an undertaker beat the streak mode but I haven't touched it yet just got done the hulkamania mode which had him vs King Kong bundy from wm2 then the macho steamboat match and the Andre hogan match with real video highlights etc then the macho man million dollar man tournament final match from wm4 then the macho hogan wm5 match then the hogan warrior wm 6 match then the hogan slaughter wm7 match then the macho flair wm8 match then the Bret yoko wm 9 match were yoko wins then mr Fuji challenges hogan right away and you fight that match as well

The next area u unlock starts with Shawn razor Ladder match that's were I'm at

Yo @q why you so cynical all of the sudden this shit is crazy fun to relive and play through and try to emulate the match as much as possible ... I've been having a blast when my daughter naps playing through most or these matches

To each his own brah ... Wrestling I don't really watch that much anymore it's an on again off again affair tbh but the games are usually fun for a few months or so... Create a dude and just do hardcore matches were you light shit on fire then smash dudes with them ...

it's boring to me

they use nostalgia as a selling point instead of creating a better game, so they think it's okay to throw the same crap out tbh

played '12 and it's the same game as '13 and '14 w/o the nostalgic modes. sorry if i come off as a "hater", just being real

Yeah that sounds like the attitude era mode on WWE 13, where they just show videoclips of what happened. I'll admit it was dope for what it was, because I enjoyed being able to relive a lot of those moments - but as far as replay value is concerned, I prefer the old games when you could create a character, play as a newcomer who has to work his way to the top and they had 100% original storylines. And the storylines would actually be different based on what you choose to do. They don't have that shit anymore

I think the beat the streak mode has something to do with a create a character but I haven't dabbled in it yet

Just C 11-11-2013 11:16 PM

I don't see this mode as a lazy cop out. Just seeing some review clips I can see they went through a lot of effort to capture the era. They obviously love wrestling.

I woulda killed for a game mode like this when I was a kid playing with my Hogan and Jake the snake figures.

I think gamers are spoiled these days.

murda sho 11-12-2013 06:54 PM

I played it all the way up until the john cena era then I stopped cause thats when wrestling got weak as fuck. The beat the streak mode is dumb bruh, if you play as Undertaker its a gauntlet where they just keep sending wrestlers at you I beat like 16 niggas then Shawn Michaels beat my ass I was tired and damaged as fuck hahaha
