i know the second i do he's gonna blow up, but g'damn, i had a pretty strong draft outside of him -- but it's hard to make up the gap left by my first round pick tanking.

in some ways spiller woulda been better on my team -- because i woulda sat him quicker (albeit he had a strong game last week)...

i cant trade rice -- i cant drop him -- i can only sit and wait for him to blow up and regret not playing him in retrospect, only to play him the next week and see the positive trend not continue...

@Art - word man, what sucks about Rice is that he was going to be the 'safe' option all things considered... This was a tough year if you were drafting around position 4 or so, and while some of the other first rounders that came after had more 'upside', I had a strong pulse on some good value picks thereafter (which thankfully did pan out, like Lacy, Gio -- and late round picks like Gordon due to suspension)... but I expected at least solid 8-12 points per game from Rice --- SHIT. dude was just bleeding my starting lineup out.

WR-wise: it pretty much didnt matter lol... Gordon got 5pts --- Boykin got 1pt (with Rodgers falling) --- and yea, V. Jax got 1pt as well.... i somehow still pulled off the W -- by a decent margin SURPRISINGLY...


...thank goodness for the combo of Rivers, Lacy, Ridley, Gonzo, and the DST beast Chiefs... Got 95 points with those 5 positions, while my "RB1" and "WR1" and "WR2" got me a collective 9 points lol!

oh yea man - i was hit hard in the day from the priest holmes and shawn alexander out-the-fuckin-blue drop-offs, so i talked myself into tempering my expectations for rice even before i drafted him

literally --- im not even getting 7 or 9 points from him... he had one good week for me and thats it lol...

figured with the over paying of flacco and a couple weapon losses on offense that Rice would be relied upon a ton... but i been shit outta luck
