i'm drunk and currently don't understand daylight savings time

for some reason i think i'm not getting an extra hour of sleep.

my computer just went from 2 am to 1 am. i switched my alarm too. but my alarm is still set to eight. so. im...just getting 7 hours of sleep still. it doesnt make sense.

YDK 11-03-2013 02:17 AM

Lmao but you woulda only got 6 hours of sleep

Certain 11-03-2013 02:17 AM

Time zones and daylight savings time are useless. Put the whole world on one clock and let some people get used to the fact that their daylight starts at 11 p.m.

PancakeBrah 11-03-2013 02:26 AM

certain when im sober im going to imitate your posting habits. i think ive got the nuances down now.

u took my favorite band and copy/pasted an exact phrase of mine. i can type out fresh sentences that are Certain.

do not challenge me brother. u r my favorite. but i will assimilate you.

aside;

@Fig I can honestly say I've been on /mu/ once. I frequented /fit/ for a year straight, with a dash of /b/ and /gif/. but /mu/ never interested me.

YDK 11-03-2013 02:38 AM

If that board birthed a real human being it'd be you bro

I discovered Swans, the antlers and Neutral Milk Hotel on /mu/

I don't like your tone.

All of music is a blend of nostalgia, Pandora, pitchfork, friends, and luck. With nostalgia being the forefront. Pandora to find similar sounds. I know Pitchfork gets a horrible reputation but I have found some of my favorite bands from their Best New Music, even though it takes A LOT of parsing out.

Red Hot Chili Peppers say Fig is mean.

YDK 11-03-2013 02:44 AM

No idea why that pic went sideways lol

huh? I wasnt being snide or anything...

just saying your musical taste identifies with that of the average /mu/ boarder thats all

Certain 11-03-2013 02:55 AM

@YDK, upload it to http://imgur.com for full-sized.

And @PancakeBrah, I, too, have found plenty of good music via Pitchfork. They had the reputation for being absurdly mean sometimes early on, but that's changed quite a bit. Now if anything I'd like more strong responses. Every review seems to be in the 8.6 to 7.1 range now.

I don't actually use Pandora. I like full albums and feel weird having music skip around on me. But I check out NME, Spin, The AV Club and PopMatters. Sometimes I check out Rolling Stone or AllMusic, but I take their reviews of new music pretty lightly.

PancakeBrah 11-03-2013 02:56 AM

im cantankerous. all apologies, fig. i took your comment as an insult, and as a result i attacked the best boarding prospect this site has to offer.

'Grizzly Bear Radio' on pandora has lead me to quite a few favorites. Found Andrew Bird through that station.

PancakeBrah 11-03-2013 03:02 AM
