Talib is the shit, but as far as my experience with his music, he was never as strong a freestyle artist as he is a studio artist. He still makes good music. He's just bad at taking avantage of in-station publicity opportunities.

Mos is dope as shit. He freestyling is stronger and his written shit is on a constant strong hip hop vibe. he never really changed, just got smoother.
